How do they work?

Care Instructions: After each use, make sure to rinse clean and squeeze dry your Eco-Sponge and keep it in a dry spot where it can drain. Keep in mind, this is made of entirely natural plant fiber, so you want to avoid bacteria and mold growth. Our recommendation is to replace your sponge monthly. When you are ready to dispose of your old Eco-Sponge, remember... it is fully biodegradable and contains absolutely no plastics or synthetic materials so you can compost it or just bury it in your garden.

*Sanitizing and cleaning your sponges will help extend their life. If you use a heavy amount of animal grease when cooking, you might replace your Eco-Sponge more often than the recommended amount of time, or you can wash it with soap several times to dislodge stuck grease. You can sanitize your sponge by microwaving the damp sponge for 20 seconds, or dipping it in boiling water.
